This site is in memory of Kerrie Morrow, who was enjoying a horseback safari at Victoria Falls when she fell from her frightened pony and was charged by a female elephant and tragically killed on April 14, 2003.
Kerrie was from Sunshine Melbourne - but since leaving Braybrook High School she had spent a great deal of time indulging her passion for travel and had made friends all over the world. Kerrie would take two or three jobs at once to finance the next trip and it will come as no surprise to anyone who knew her that her next trip, to see the running of the bulls in Pamplona, in Spain, had already been planned.
Kerrie had based herself in Scotland for several months and had enjoyed travelling to various destinations from Edinburgh, including New York, Turkey, Ireland and South Africa, before her final trip to Zimbabwe.
Kerrie made many friends in Edinburgh while working at the Cask and Barrel in Broughton Street between her various excursions. She was highly thought of by staff and customers as she always had a friendly smile and loved life to the full. Kerrie will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
